The next “Fridays With Friends” event for local teenagers will be held 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at the Ocean City Community Center.
This free program invites students in grades 8 to 12 to listen to music, swim, play ping pong, watch a holiday movie, or sing carols to the residents of The Shores assisted living retirement community.
The event includes pizza.
The “Fridays With Friends” program invites teenagers to hang out and participate in various activities. The event is for Ocean City and Upper Township students. Teens must show a school identification, but there is no cost to participate.
The school group sponsor for this event is OCHS SADD/STOP. The Municipal Alliance Committee, Ocean City Police Department and Community Policing Unit, Ocean City Free Public Library, Ocean City Aquatic and Fitness Center, and Ocean City Recreation Department co-sponsor the seasonal series of events.
