If you do not support the Wind Turbines running their power lines under our beach, through two “Green Acre” parcels, across the width of Ocean City and then out through our bay to the mainland, your time to speak up is Thursday 5/19/22 at 5:30pm.
The Board of Public Utilities has the authority to grant them the permit to cut through our beach and rip up our roads, all without the approval of our local officials.
While they did a horrible job notifying the public, this is our chance to stand up for our right to “Home Rule.”

*In Council Chambers, Orsted admitted that they could run these lines around the island, but that it would be much more expensive.
The health and well-being of our Island is worth them being inconvenienced.
