The Junior Miss Ocean City Pageant will be held 7 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 18) on the Ocean City Music Pier.
Julia Erickson, the reigning Junior Miss, will preside and crown her successor. Erickson, of Yardley, Pa., has been a representative of the city during the past year, attending special events, judging contests, performing at pageants and always taking time to pose for photos with her many admirers.
The pageant is open to girls ages 12 to 15 who live in Ocean City, attend Ocean City public schools or whose parents own property in Ocean City.
Contestants are judged on talent, interviews, poise and composure, among other factors.
