Interviewer: How would you define your sense of style and how do you like when it comes to fashion?

Kendra Bentley: My everyday sense of style is uncomplicated and simple, living in South Florida. The weather is nearly always warm or hot, so I prefer effortless, beachy options. I love pulling on a clean, comfy white dress, throwing on some jewel toned earrings, nude sandals and I’m ready. I think it’s important to have fun and embrace femininity too, so I appreciate playing dress up and wearing sparkly, well cut dresses and red lipstick for celebrations. It is a type of escapism from my daily simple style.

Interviewer: What has being in a reality programme taught you? What are the aspects that people don’t see behind cameras?

Kendra Bentley: Appearing in a reality television show taught me that I can dig deeper than I initially gave myself credit for to get a job done or to pursue what I really want. Having a camera in your face,  following you around 24 hours a day makes you feel raw and vulnerable. Pushing through this aspect alone is not always easy or pleasant especially if you are going without meals or sleep.

Interviewer: Would you say that you have an adventurous spirit and how do you keep yourself active?

Kendra Bentley: I have an adventurous spirit.  I have been skydiving, bungee jumping, ice climbing, repelling off buildings and mountains, and have traveled to many parts of the world. I like to switch up physical actives frequently in my fitness routine. I am not a gym person. I enjoy swimming, jogging outside, playing sports with my children, rollerblading, and pilates classes on the reformer.

Interview: When did you start modeling? What would be the most interesting aspects of this business?

Kendra Bentley: I started modeling at 19, when I was in college. Little did I know at the time that this would eventually become a full time job.  The most interesting parts of the business are the lively and talented people I get the opportunity to meet and the incredible places I have been privileged to visit.

Interviewer: You are based in Florida. Can you give us Top 3 destinations in this State?

Kendra Bentley: If someone has never visited FL, a few places I would recommend are South Beach, Palm Beach and Orlando. South Beach is becoming very crowded so I think it’s a good idea to choose your hotel carefully.

Interviewer: What do you like about getting older? What age has over youth and vice versa?

Kendra Bentley: I like that I have a greater sense of overall confidence. I don’t obsess about little details like I used to.  I’m able to cherish memories and experiences that I have created with my family. I love to sit still and cherish the family that I have created.  I don’t have as much bursting energy as when I was younger but I would not change anything for the memories and experiences that are now part of me.

Interviewer: Do you have any unfulfilled goals that you would like to realize?

Kendra Bentley: The travel and adventure, while great, made me realize that it’s important to give back to those less fortunate and to teach my children to do the same.

Interviewer: How important is travel to you and what is the destination that you have found the most interesting?

Kendra Bentley: Travel is very important to me. I’ve been to countless destinations around the world but I’m still very eager to see more. Exposing children to travel is important to me as I feel it gives them an edge in life and helps them to apply and put into perspective what they learn in books. Two of my favorite places to travel are Bora Bora (I felt like I was watching a dreamy color enhanced movie the whole time ) and Iceland. The icebergs, glaciers, waterfalls and mossy green areas were captivating.
