Ocean City will reluctantly stick with the construction company overseeing a troubled $6.5 million drainage project instead of fighting it out in court or trying to remove the contractor from the job. City officials said litigation against the lead contractor, A.E. Stone Inc., could prove risky, including the possibility that the company would respond by seeking a court injunction to shut down the project.
