Students of the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) will celebrate the Halloween and fall season with “Stage Fright” at the Ocean City Music Pier at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26.
“Stage Fright” features a cast of 20 student performers from middle and high schools across Cape May and Atlantic counties.
“We are thrilled to bring together all of these students under one roof to share and fine-tune their theatrical talents” Artistic Director Michael Hartman said.
In a unique concept, “Stage Fright” features two acts and two different shows that are “spooktacular” for the Halloween season. One act will highlight an adaptation of the popular story of “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” and the other act will feature “The Invisible Man,” which is written by the master of science fiction, H.G. Wells. Overseeing the entire play is accomplished director, performer and educator Donald Toal.
“Stage Fright” will provide an excellent opportunity to support the talents of up-and-coming theatrical stars and celebrate this scary time of the year, all while being family-friendly.
