Scrim Discovery Needlepoint Celebrates 40 Years and New Owner

Scrim Discovery Needlepoint marked its 40th anniversary in business with a ribbon-cutting on Friday at 924 Haven Avenue

Since 1975, the shop has specialized in hand-painted needlepoint canvases from artists throughout the U.S. The shop has a big inventory of threads and accessories, and it offers framing services.

Sally Hayes recently purchased the shop from longtime boss and “amazing friend” Donna Wilson.
