Ocean City’s Vacation Rental website VROCNJ.com is having a great first summer in Ocean City and will soon be ending its $99 introductory offer for new owners to advertise on their website for the 2021 rental season.

Duane Watlington, founder of Vacation Rentals Jersey Shore LLC, said there are plenty of reasons why the vacation rental website www.vacationrentalsoceancitynj.com has taken off since being launched this year.

“It provides a lot of ways to connect with no hidden fees or taxes,” he noted.

With the promotional offer of $99 ending by July 31, Watlington said owners should take advantage of the rental listing site now.

“For $99, what have you got to lose?” Watlington said. “If you get just one rental from it, it more than pays for itself. This is it. It will never be as low again.”

Through the end of July, new owners in Ocean City who advertise with VROCNJ for the 2021 rental season will receive 60 percent off any of their annual subscription plans.

So, for as little as $99 (normally $249), they can put a listing to work for owners for the next year.

“It’s never too soon to start advertising for next summer. In fact, we started seeing search inquiries for summer 2021 back in early June.” Watlington said. “There will never be a better time to sign up. Take advantage of introductory pricing and get a head start on your 2021 rental season.”

Watlington explained that as more property owners sign up, and more importantly, as the site’s popularity on Google grows, discounts will be phased out.

Now is the time to take advantage of the special offers, he said.

With the Ocean City website approaching 200 listings since being launched in the fall, it is growing in both properties and the number of views.

In just the last 30 days, from June 22 to July 21, there have been over 1,000 inquiries about the properties.

Watlington, a real estate agent, started with a website dedicated to Long Beach Island (LBI) four years ago and another in the Wildwoods last year.

“It is more than double the inquiries we had on our LBI website in our first year for the same time period,” Watlington said. “It shows Ocean City is growing at twice the rate.”

And most importantly, he emphasized, it highlights the exposure owners are gaining from listing on the Ocean City rental website.

“Ocean City is our fastest growing website, hands down,” Watlington said.

Watlington pointed to many reasons rental owners are very satisfied with the three websites for Ocean City, LBI and the Wildwoods.

The service is reasonable, there are no booking fees or taxes or no delayed payments – vacationers book and pay directly to the owner.

Owners have direct communication with their guests, and they have complete control of the listings, policies, and payment methods.

In addition, local VROCNJ staff are on hand and available to help with just a phone call or an email. All of the listings come with a “For Rent” sign featuring the specific listing on the front to be displayed on the rental property.

“We are following a proven business model and marketing strategy that has worked before and is working again, even faster this time,” Watlington said.

“We are super-excited to now be serving OCNJ and looking forward to helping our owners fill their rental weeks for 2021,” he said.
