A school bus carrying 18 students and a vehicle collided at the intersection of 18th Street and Asbury Avenue in Ocean City on Tuesday, leaving two students with minor injuries, Ocean City Public Information Officer Doug Bergen said Wednesday.
Bergen said the collision occurred at about 2:52 p.m. The two students were transported to Shore Medical Center in Somers Point with minor injuries. The crash occurred near the Intermediate School, which is located at 18th Street and Bay Avenue, but authorities did not confirm that the bus had left there.
The adult driver of the vehicle was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division with non-life-threatening injuries.
“The accident is still under investigation and the full report won’t be available until tomorrow,” Bergen said.
