The Ocean City Beach Patrol won the 74th annual South Jersey Lifeguard Championship a year ago (August 9, 2013) thanks to the rowing of Matt Garbutt and Dylan Kosten (pictured) and the swimming of Anthony Czar.
August 8, 9, and 10 is OCBP reunion weekend:
- Friday, August 8: The 75th annual South Jersey Lifeguard Championship will be held on the 34th Street beach in Ocean City starting at 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, August 9: The 76th annual lifeguard reunion will be held at Sandi Pointe Coastal Bistro, 908 Shore Road in Somers Point at 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday, August 10: The 2nd annual alumni competition will be held on the Seaview Harbor beach from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
