Effective immediately and until further notice, all students in the Ocean City school system can receive breakfast and lunch meals at no charge, regardless of the child’s current free/reduced eligibility, the school district announced Thursday.
Meals purchased since Sept. 8 will be credited to your child’s account. Any previous balances accrued or any a la carte items purchased will still be on the accounts.
Meals are made possible through USDA and will be available through Dec. 31, or until the funds allotted for this program are no longer available.
You will still need to complete the forms for free or reduced meals now, so your child will be able to continue to receive meals when this special program expires.
