I’d like to take this Friday to say thank you.
I want to thank everyone for doing all they can to social distance and stay at home. You have saved lives.
I want to thank all of the people who have volunteered to help with OCNJ CARE.
This community effort was launched to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and all the related closings and quarantines.
The number of people who are dedicating their time to assist their neighbors is overwhelming and encouraging.

I want to thank all of the other community organizations and individuals who are helping with food, sewing masks, and with many other needs that are arising. I want to thank the business community, churches, our city team and City Council for all of their important work.
The Ocean City Ecumenical Council Food Cupboard remains open, but those in need must call for delivery at 609-398-3191. Food donations are not being accepted at this time, but monetary donations can be mailed to Ocean City Ecumenical Council, P.O. Box 1001, Ocean City NJ 08226.
On this Easter weekend, I’d like for everyone to join me in celebrating acts of good will like these. Times like these should unite us and make us stronger. This is Ocean City’s heart and soul.
