The Ocean City Free Public Library will host a book talk and signing with photojournalist Christy Bowe on Nov. 9.

Not many people can say that their career has placed them center stage at as many historical happenings as Bowe, a member of the White House press corps.

She has photographed five presidents, from Bill Clinton to Joe Biden, eight U.S. presidential inaugurations, the confirmation hearings of seven U.S. Supreme Court justices, captured the horrors of 9/11, and covered two presidential impeachments.

The event will be held outside under the library’s tent at the 17th Street entrance at 2 p.m., weather permitting.

People are asked to bring their own chair, if possible. Seating will be available to those who need it.

If inclement weather prevails, a Zoom meeting will be offered as an alternative.
