Evangelist and author Josh McDowell will be the guest speaker at the opening of the Ocean City Tabernacle 2019 summer season, Sunday, May 26, at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
McDowell shares the essentials of the Christian faith in everyday language so that youth, families, churches, leaders and people of all ages are prepared for the life of faith and the work of the ministry, according to a press release.
Since 1960, McDowell has delivered more than 27,000 talks to over 25 million people in 125 countries. He has written or is co-author of 148 books, including “More Than a Carpenter” and “Evidence That Demands a Verdict,” which was recognized by World Magazine as one of the top 40 books of the 20th century.
Join the Ocean City Tabernacle to hear speakers every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. through Sept. 8.
Located at 550 Wesley Avenue in Ocean City, the Ocean City Tabernacle is open to all as an inter-denominational family ministry center where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is central. This year marks the 140th year of ministry.
