Volunteers are encouraged to clean up different parts of the city Monday (Jan. 19) during the annual Day of Service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The event takes place 9 a.m. to noon.
Signups and cleanup supplies distribution will take place in the Senior Center at the Ocean City Community Center (18th Street and Simpson Avenue) at any time during the event. Volunteers are encouraged to return to the Senior Center for a complimentary lunch after the cleanup.
The event honors the spirit of community service taught by King.
