Mayor’s Update 11/10

On Monday, I announced the appointment of Jim Smith as our new fire chief. Jim has risen through the ranks of the Ocean City Fire Department in his 22-year career here, and he brings both local knowledge and firefighting expertise to the job. He and his wife, Kate, and their children are long-time members of the local community. I look forward to working with him in the years to come, and I’d like you all to join me in congratulating Jim and wishing him well in his new position.
