Ocean City Primary School Puts Twist on March Madness

March Madness is taking over the Ocean City Primary School, but the students aren't associating the annual event with basketball. Instead they are competing in their very own version of a bracket-style coding tournament. The competitive game is called Capture the Kingdom, where student teams attempt to capture points by programming a robot to move to designated areas on 6 foot by 6-foot game board. Mayor’s Update – March 24, 2017

City Council last night approved two important resolutions that will benefit Ocean City residents and guests. Council voted to advertise for contractors to complete the final stage of boardwalk reconstruction from 10th Street to 12th Street. And so was born “Teudy’s Road to Recovery,” an evening of fun, food and fellowship to help the seriously injured Teudy Martinez and his family. Last July, Teudy was swimming when he suffered a traumatic injury which left him a quadriplegic. As if that weren’t tragic enough, the timing of the incident made it even worse. Teudy and his wife Halley would become parents for the second time just two weeks later...

Reagan’s View On Ocean City

My father recently asked me why I like Ocean City so much. It inspired me to write the following: When I think about my home town, the first thing that comes to mind is the beach. I think of the beach because, for one thing, this place does have ocean in its name. Another reason I instantly think of the beach is because I have been there a lot and I know that there is a countless amount of people at our beach each year. Last year, Ocean City won "Best Beach in America" because of how wonderful it is...
