Antique Show and Sinatra Salute on Night in Venice Weekend

The Ocean City Historical Museum has its own collection of hidden treasures from the past, but an antiques show on Saturday will bring in 25 dealers with items for sale.

Ocean City’s annual boat parade is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, July 11, but here are some other events this weekend.

 

COUNTY PAGEANTS: The Miss Cape May County and Miss Cape Resort and Outstanding Teen Pageants willy be held 7 p.m. Friday (July 10) at the Ocean City Music Pier. Tickets will be available at the door.

ANTIQUE SHOW: The Ocean City Historical Museum (17th Street and Simpson Avenue) is sponsoring its annual Antique Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (July 11). Twenty-five dealers will display and sell a variety of antiques including small furniture, jewelry, books, china, glassware, postcards and memorabilia.

The show also provides the museum an opportunity to sell donated vintage items. One of the highlights will be a pair of antique lamps made from vases that were part of the cargo of the Sindia, that ran aground off the City beach in 1901. Numerous other items will be sold at the museum table. Admission is free, donations will be accepted to support the museum. For information, call (609) 399-1801.

OCEAN CITY NOR’EASTERS VS. FA EURO: Premier Development League amateur soccer plus “Family Fun Night.” Sixth annual mascot race set for halftime. OCEAN CITY POPS PRESENT MEMORIES OF FRANK SINATRA: Celebrating 100 years of Sinatra with Michael Martocci and Sinatra Conductor Vincent Falcone, Jr. Michael is a gifted singer who performs Sinatra’s catalog with a stage presence reminiscent of the man himself. Sponsored by Manco and Manco in memory of Frank Manco. 8 p.m. at the Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and Boardwalk. Tickets $25 and $20.
