The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce honored Cricket Frank at its annual Salute to Working Women on Thursday (April 10) at the Ocean City Yacht Club.

In a 50-year career in Ocean City, Frank has worked every part of the hotel industry and is now corporate vice president of OC Hotels and Property Management, which operates the Impala Island Inn and Beach Club Hotel.

Joe Ney spoke of a hard-working but soft-spoken friend who managed to balance family and work life with success.

Frank is a trustee and vice chairman of the Board of the Ocean City Community Center Association, a vice president of the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce and an executive member of the Ocean City Hospitality Association.

She has been married to Tony Frank for 49 years. They have two daughters, Kimberly and Tory, and three granddaughters, Berkeley, Anhwei and Goldie.

About 100 people attended the event, which also featured a keynote address from Janet M. Wagner, founding dean of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey School of Business.
