Sturdy Savings Bank announced it has matched, dollar for dollar, every donation raised during The Arc of Cape May County’s Giving Tuesday Fundraising Event that was held on Dec. 1.
Funds that were raised will be used to provide access to telemedicine programming, PPE supplies and cleaning needs to battle COVID-19, and tablets to access The Arc’s virtual programming through technology to the people they serve in Cape May County with intellectual and developmental disabilities, according to a press release.
Sturdy Savings Bank was a proud supporter of The Arc’s Giving Tuesday Fundraising Event and pledged to match every donation to The Arc of Cape May County on Giving Tuesday, $1 for $1 for the first $5,000.
Sturdy has been a longtime partner of The Arc of Cape May County, supporting the agency with banking services as well as philanthropic support over many years.
“We have been a longtime supporter of the work of The Arc of Cape May County, but this year’s donation is especially critical in helping them assist those in need during these uncertain times,” said Sturdy Savings Bank President Jerry Reeves.
