Due to the rainy weather forecast, the Great Egg Hunt on the Ocean City Boardwalk that had been scheduled for Saturday, April 1, will be postponed until Sunday, April 2.

Participating merchants will invite children up to age 7 to visit stores with their families to collect eggs filled with toys and candy. The free event will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. or while supplies last.

Flyers will direct families to participating stores to collect eggs trick-or-treat-style. A second Great Egg Hunt is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. April 8, with a rain date of April 9. More information is available on Facebook (@ocnjboardwalk) or Instagram (@oc_njboardwalk).

Visits with the Easter Bunny will go on as scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 1, under the gazebo at Mark Soifer Park at 9th Street and Asbury Avenue. The Easter Bunny will return during the same hours on April 2 and April 8.
