The recipients of the 2024 Martin Luther King Community Service Awards were announced Friday.
Jane French and William McMahon III will be honored on Jan. 15 at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ceremony at the Ocean City Music Pier, Mayor Jay Gillian announced.
Each year, the awards recognize volunteer activity and service to the Ocean City community.
“Both of these award recipients have been selfless and tireless in support of our community,” Gillian said of French and McMahon in a statement.
Gillian encouraged the community to attend the ceremony and celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King and to learn more about the award recipients.
