The library is often a hub of activity for patrons, but with the plan, hours will be limited.

Instead of heading to the movie theater, why not enjoy a flick at the Ocean City Free Public Library, 1735 Simpson Avenue?

The movies are free and are played on the second Tuesday of each month at noon in the Chris Maloney Lecture Hall.

Tuesday matinees run through 2020 and the next one, featuring the film “Evening” (2007), is Feb. 11.

Other movies coming up include “Hoosiers” (1986) on March 10, “Queen of Katwe” (2016) on April 14 and “Bridges of Madison County” (1995) on May 12.
