McMahon Insurance Agency of Ocean City was presented with certificates of appreciation on May 13 by members of the Ocean City American Legion Post 524 for their ongoing support and $10,000 in financial contributions toward the Legion’s new building fund over the past two years.

The funds will be used to help transform what was once a vacant lot at the corner of 46th Street and West Avenue in Ocean City into the future home of American Legion Post 524.

“This project would not be possible without the support of outstanding community corporate citizens like McMahon Insurance,” American Legion Commander Bob Marzulli said. “We are extremely grateful to them for their generosity.”

“McMahon Insurance loves Ocean City, America and the troops that protect this great country,” said Bill McMahon III, president of the McMahon Insurance Agency. “We consider it our privilege to be able to support those who have defended our freedoms.”
