In honor of Coast Guard week, the historic U.S. Life Saving Station No. 30 in Ocean City will host an open house at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at the station at Fourth Street and Atlantic Avenue.
Members of the U.S. Coast Guard based in Cape May and the Coast Guard Community Foundation will be in attendance.
The event will include light refreshments and a presentation on the Life Saving Station’s role as a precursor to the U.S. Coast Guard.
