Many Ocean City residents and visitors know Chad Juros from the magic shows he performs at the semi-annual downtown block parties on Asbury Avenue or during the First Night New Year’s Eve celebration in town.
But some may not know that Juros is the founder of the Spread the Magic Foundation, a program that brings cheer to children with cancer through magic performances. Juros is a survivor of childhood leukemia, and he’s dedicated his life to helping others like himself.
Juros’s work was celebrated in an “Above and Beyond” segment of ABC’s “Good Morning America” program on Friday, Sept. 11. The feature ends by showing a surprise encounter with one of the young magician’s idols, David Copperfield, in Atlantic City on Friday.
