Clouds cleared Sunday evening (Sept. 27, 2015) in time for Ocean City to get a great view of a lunar eclipse.
The event coincided with a “supermoon,” the full moon closest to Earth and appearing biggest in the sky. The next convergence of a supermoon and lunar eclipse won’t happen for another 18 years.
