The wind howled through the night in Ocean City but appears to have left no significant damage, despite a National Weather Service warning that called for gusts up to 60 mph.
Ocean City woke up Sunday morning to single-digit temperatures and 30 mph winds, combining for a wind-chill value of -12 degrees. By 9 a.m., the actual temperature had reached 10 degrees.

Top wind gusts reached 51 mph at Atlantic City International Airport at 5 a.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Readings from an anemometer at 59th Street in Ocean City were not immediately available.
The winds knocked down newspaper boxes and scattered trash cans, but did not cause any significant damage. There are no reported power outages in Ocean City.
The coldest weather is yet to come.
Wind chill values are expected to reach a low Sunday night into Monday morning. The temperature Sunday night may fall to 6 degrees with a wind chill value of -15 degrees.
Another storm could leave another 1 to 3 inches of snow between 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The temperature is not expected to rise above the freezing mark until next weekend.
A wind chill advisory remains in effect until 11 a.m. Monday.
