Ocean City Seeks Volunteer for Environmental Commission

The City of Ocean City is seeking applicants for a volunteer position with the city’s Environmental Commission.

The position is described as follows:

  • Environmental Commission: This commission is to provide for the protection, development or use of natural resources, including water resources, within Ocean City. The board has the power to conduct research into the use and possible use of open land, including beaches, bays, inlet and ocean and coordinate activities of unofficial bodies organized for similar purposes.
  • Term of Office: 2-Year Alternate (fill unexpired term thru 12/31/15)
  • Meetings: Twice a month at the Bayside Center at 6:30 pm.
