A nice turnout of supporters was on hand to enjoy the 10th Anniversary Fiesta of the Ocean City Theatre Company over the weekend.
Attendees enjoyed traditional Mexican fare and each others’ company at the home of Artistic Director Michael Hartman.
The event was as much of a celebration of OCTC’s decade of providing high quality theatre to the Jersey Shore as it was a fundraiser. In addition to celebrating the past, the Fiesta also kicked off the organization’s highly anticipated summer season.
The organization operates as a Summer Stock/Regional company producing a full schedule of professional musicals each season. It works in partnership with the award-winning Ocean City Pops.
This year’s schedule includes such shows as Broadway on the Boardwalk (June 28), Madagascar – A Musical Adventure (July 3), the Trial of Goldilocks (July 11), Fiddler on the Roof (July 11,12 and 14), Curious George: The Golden Meatball (July 18), The Musical Adventure of Flat Stanley (July 25), Stinky Kids the Musical (August 1), and Mary Poppins (August 8, 9, and 11).
