Installation of a new floor at the Howard S. Stainton Senior Center (1735 Simpson Avenue) is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 28, and extend through Friday, May 9.
During the project, all Senior Center programs will move to the Ocean City Civic Center (Sixth Street and Boardwalk).
Meal service, transportation and all daily programs will continue on a regular schedule at the Civic Center.
The project includes new flooring and other improvements as part of the first phase of grant-funded amenity upgrades at the Senior Center.
All senior programs will be closed on Sunday, May 4, due to a conflict with the MS Walk. All seniors are encouraged to attend Community Wellness Day at the Ocean City Community Center from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. May 4.
