“Upon arrival, fire department personnel confirmed a significant fire involving a boat on a trailer parked along the roadway, as well as one individual requiring advanced life support medical care for significant burn injuries,” according to a news release.

The victim was treated at the scene by fire and police personnel before being airlifted from Ocean City Municipal Airport to the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital burn unit and trauma center in Philadelphia.
