The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) has expanded its offerings to the fall season with the presentation of “SHUDDERSOME: Tales of Poe.”

Just in time for the Halloween season, this family-friendly production will be performed at the Ocean City Music Pier (at Moorlyn Terrace and Boardwalk) at 7:30 p.m. Friday (Oct. 23) and Saturday (Oct. 24). This production features students in grades 6 to 12 from around Cape May and Atlantic counties.

Specters, ghosts and ghouls come alive in this vivid theatrical adaptation of some of Edgar Allan Poe’s best-known works. Included are “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The Raven” and “The Masque of the Red Death.” Poe’s words rise from the page like corpses from the grave.

Tickets are $10 per person and reservations can be made by calling 609-399-6111 or by visiting www.ocnj.us/boxoffice.
