The students at the Ocean City Primary School and their families really know how to dress up for Halloween, judging by the elaborate costumes for a parade Tuesday.
Parents lined up to view the spectacle, as students paraded past waving and giggling and wearing professional-looking costumes that appeared to be straight off a movie set.
Some students dressed as spooky characters, such as evil clowns, others opted for the fairy princesses and "Toy Story" characters, namely Buzz Lightyear.
The list of costumes goes on and on. While some of the get-ups were traditional favs, others were hot this Halloween, because of recently released movies.
The teachers and faculty also got into the spirit of All Hallows Eve. Two of them dressed as Ken and Barbie.
The real Ken and Barbie?
Primary School Principal Dr. Cathy Smith said the parade is always a favorite event.
“What a great day to celebrate Halloween. It's for our students, staff, families and the community. This is what makes Ocean City so special,” Smith said. “Everyone comes together to make these little ones feel like the stars of the show, because they are.”
Interim Schools Superintendent Dr. Scott McCartney watched the parade and chatted with parents, as students walked by showcasing their costumes.
“It was great to see students, staff and the community having fun together,” he said after the parade.

Siena Kolins, 7, of Ocean City, whose parents Candice and Sean Kolins are business owners in town, dressed as a Disney character.
Even Siena’s grandparents, Adele and Dan Carlin, of Ocean City, got into the spirit of the holiday by dressing in costume.
They opted for “The Wizard of Oz” theme.
Adele dressed as the Cowardly Lion, while Dan dressed as the Tin Man.
“We love Halloween and "The Wizard of Oz" always has a great message of courage,” Adele noted.
Both Candice and Sean Kolins said it was a fun time for their daughter.
“I feel like we are blessed being surrounded by family and there is nothing like Halloween. It’s just such a great way to come together,” Candice said.

Pokemon characters are always popular.
