Douglas Han founded Justice Law Corporation in 2013. Douglas Han takes great pride in advocating for his clients as an attorney. His firm Justice Law Corporation has won millions for clients over the years statewide in California, and recently expanded to the state of Washington. In addition to the great legal work Justice Law Corporation does, Douglas Han also started the Justice Cares Initiative, which partners with local charities and underserved communities in California. The Justice Cares Initiative was created to facilitate positive change that would have a lasting impact on underserved California communities. Below are some of the amazing organizations that Justice Law Corporation has partnered with to give back to these communities. Community Action Partnership of Kern – Douglas Han is extremely proud to have worked with the Community Action Partnership of Kern. This organization is dedicated to addressing the underlying causes of poverty, alleviating the effects, and promoting dignity and self-sufficiency in the communities they serve. Justice Cares partnered with Community Action Partnership of Kern during the 2022 holiday season to support their M Street Navigation Center with over 150 backpacks each containing hygiene kits, shirts, warm hats, and socks delivered in a reusable drawstring bag for the patrons of the center. In 2021, Justice Cares provided 50 new shoes, winter coats and holidays gifts for the children at risk who received support from the Friendship House and Schafter Locations. The Open Door Network – Formally known as the Bakersfield Homeless Center and Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault, the Open Door Network is an agency that believes compassion and guidance go a long way in nurturing resilience – especially with those dealing with major crises like joblessness, homelessness or abuse. Approaching their clients with compassion while also understanding the importance of meeting the community where they are, The Open Door Network is able to provide the right support and tools their clients need to reclaim their lives. Justice Cares provided for the past two years have provided over 150 children’s kits; each containing a blanket, coloring kit and hygiene kit, and 50 women’s kits; each containing a blanket, pair of fuzzy socks, feminine kit and hygiene kit.
Families Forward Learning Center – Since 1961, the Families Forward Learning Center has been providing free educational services to families with children in need. The approach of the Families Forward Learning Center is to provide learning tools for both children from infancy to five years old and their parents. Justice Cares is proud to partner with the Families Forward Learning Center to help support families in need with everything from essential household items to back-to-school supplies. The Women’s Room of Friends in Deed – Founded in 1946, Friends In Deed is an interfaith organization that provides supportive services to meet basic human needs, so our homeless and at-risk neighbors can rebuild their lives. The Women’s Room is one of the many programs offered by Friends In Deed, and it is a day program serving homeless and at-risk women. In addition to providing supportive services, The Women’s Room is a daytime refuge offering a safe place to be, destress with arts and crafts, and connect to others in the community. Justice Cares served a holiday lunch with all of the fixings (turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, mac ‘n cheese, pie, cider, etc.). Justice Cares also hand delivered 30 kits, each containing a full size lotion, perfume and soap from Bath & Body Works, feminine kits and fuzzy socks – included in each kit was a reusable drawstring bag.

The Future of The Justice Cares Initiative

All the charitable organizations that Justice Cares has partnered with are committed to serving their communities by helping individuals regain hope, self-sufficiency, providing shelter and safety to the vulnerable facing poverty, homelessness, domestic violence and sexual assault.
