More snow is expected from this week's storm than the light coating that covered Ocean City's Boardwalk and beaches on Feb. 2.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Ocean City in effect from 7 p.m. Wednesday through 12 p.m. Thursday.
Residents and visitors are advised to closely monitor weather forecasts and conditions during this period.
The latest NWS forecast calls for total snow accumulation up to 4 inches and ice accumulation of a light glaze.
Please be advised that West Avenue is a “Snow Removal Zone” and parking is prohibited on both sides of the street when the road is covered by snow.
