Traditional trick-or-treating hours for Ocean City will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.
It is important this year for both trick-or-treaters and families putting out treats to plan for a safe and healthy holiday. The city also will sponsor a Halloween House Decorating Contest. See details and a list of participating homes below.
The Ocean City Skate Park will be host to a Halloween event with prizes for best trick and best costume. The skate will be 4 p.m. to dusk on Saturday, at the park at Fifth Street and Asbury Avenue. Free candy and music will be available.

The contest awards prizes for the top homes in each of Ocean City's four wards and in a commercial division. Judging will take place Wednesday and Thursday, and winners will be announced on Friday.
