OCTC Hosts Broadway Brunch July 21

The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) presents its ninth annual Broadway Brunch at the Greate Bay Country Club on July 21 at 11:30 a.m. in Somers Point. The event celebrates the arts in southern New Jersey and will be a highlight of the OCTC's summer calendar. The program will include brunch, a silent auction, speeches and performances. This year, scholarships will be awarded to six young performers: Lauren Braccili, a graduate from Parkland High School who will be attending Drexel University in the fall, Madeline Byrne, a graduate from Cape May County Technical High School who will be attending Manhattan College, Skyler Davis, a graduate from Cape May County Technical High School who will be attending Montclair State University, Sofia Farrell, a graduate from Mount Saint Joseph Academy who will be attending Manhattan School of Music, Nora Faverzani, a graduate of Ocean City High School who will be attending Yale University, and Gabrielle Waid, a graduate from Ocean City High School who will be attending Rider University.

(Photo courtesy OCTC) The 2019 Commitment to the Arts and OCTC Award will be presented to Michael Dattilo, founding board member for the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company and former Ocean City business administrator.
