Surfers take advantage of the early-spring swell in Ocean City.
What was once invest 99L has matured into tropical storm Gert. No forecasted threat to land, but will supply a short shot of good long-term ground swell!! Swell should start to fill-in late Tuesday and peak on Wednesday and timed with some offshore winds out of the west to keep the surf clean.
Tuesday– Southeast winds at only 5-10 with waves starting out at about 2-2 1/2′ with waves at about 4′ late afternoon.
Wednesday– We’ll see clean conditions most off the day with winds west at 5 early then shifting southwest in the afternoon. Waves should be in the 5′ plus size!! Go surfing!!
