The Doo-Dah Parade
Ocean City's 32nd Annual Doo Dah Parade brought tens of thousands of visitors to Ocean City on Saturday afternoon. A spectacular blue sky may have been the main attraction for the event, which kicked off at noon and traveled through downtown Ocean City on Asbury Avenue and finished on the Ocean City Boardwalk.The Doo Dah Parade featured Grand Marshal Regis Philbin.
The First of Two Easter Egg Hunts

A massive Easter Egg Hunt took place on the beach in Ocean City, NJ, on Saturday. It included thousands of children, 100,000 eggs and 4,000 prizes. Parents and children alike enjoyed the free event and perfect weather.
It was actually the first of two identical events. The second is set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017.
Five separate egg hunt areas are set up for children of different ages.
The events are free to all children age 7 and younger. They take place on the beach between 11th and 14th streets.

Separate areas are set up for egg-hunters in five different age categories: 2 years old and younger, ages 3-4, age 5, age 6 and age 7.
If you miss last weekend's hunt, do not make that mistake again. Everyone interested in participating is reminded to be prompt as the hunt goes quickly.

Matthew Allen, of Newtown, Pa., beat out nine other contestants ranging in age from 58 to 88 to win the title during a slapstick-like show at the Ocean City Music Pier hosted by 85-year-old TV talk show legend Regis Philbin.
Not too shabby for an off-season spring time weekend at the beach. The excitement only heats-up from here!
