Ward, Elizabeth E., (nee Turnbull) 56 of Petersburg, NJ passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016 at her home. Born in West Chester, PA, she was formerly of Beesley’s Point moving to Petersburg, NJ 20 years ago. Mrs. Ward worked as a Pit Supervisor for Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City, NJ for 30 years. She was a member of Church of the Resurrection of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish where she served on the hospitality committee. Mrs. Ward was a 25 year member of the Penn Horticultural Society and was a volunteer for Beacon Animal Rescue. She enjoyed gardening, walking, hiking, traveling and fine foods.
Surviving are her husband, John Ward of Petersburg, NJ, a brother, Jed Turnbull (Mariana) of New York, NY, three sisters, Loretta T. Brennan (Jerry) of Southlake, TX, Julia Turnbull (Lou) of Phoenixville, PA and Nancy Turnbull of Mays Landing, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be offered Friday afternoon at two o’clock from the Church of the Resurrection of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ where friends may call from one o’clock until the time of mass.
