A strong storm system that produced severe storms and tornadoes in the South on Tuesday will pass to our west during the day on Wednesday. Expect occasional rain during the day. As winds shift to the southerly direction, milder air will move in pushing temperatures into the 50s. Wednesday night, a cold front will sweep though bringing a round of heavier rain, gusty winds (30-40mph+) and possibly a rumble of thunder.
As the storm exits on Thursday, some sun returns with temperatures reaching 50 again but winds will remain quite breezy (SW winds 15-20mph, with higher gusts). Chillier air arrives Friday and Saturday with highs around 40.
