Ocean City Beach Patrol will protect nine beaches in its final weekend of the 2015 season.
The final day of the season for the Ocean City Beach Patrol lifeguards will be Sunday, Sept. 20.
The following beaches will be protected:
- St. Charles Place (between 1st and 2nd)
- Brighton Place (between 4th and 5th)
- Eighth Street
- Ninth Street
- 10th Street
- 12th Street
- 14th Street
- 34th Street
- 58th Street
The weekend forecast calls for sunny days on Saturday and Sunday, and the ocean temperature is 72 degrees. The ocean has been calm all week and should remain the same on Saturday. A building north wind on Sunday could make the surf a little rougher.
Access to 59th Street Beach will be blocked as the south end replenishment project wraps up by Tuesday.
