Mayor and Administrators to Discuss Capital Plan at Feb. 21 OCCA Meeting

Mayor Jay Gillian Mayor Jay Gillian, new Business Administrator Jim Mallon and Chief Financial Officer Frank Donato III, will discuss the $79.4 million capital plan for 2015 through 2019 at the next meeting of the Ocean City Community Association 9:30 a.m Saturday, Feb. 21 in the Ocean City Free Public Library. The plan includes increasing spending on bayside dredging from $2 million to $10 million over the next five years. It doubles the pace of a multiyear boardwalk reconstruction project and dedicates $29.3 million to roads and drainage improvements.  The use of historically low interest rates to finance the plan will also be explained.
