Ocean City Music Pier to Host Six Rock Bands on Friday Night

Green Language will be hosting its record release concert at the Ocean City Music Pier, this Friday, May 9th. The concert will feature six regional bands from New Jersey, Philadelphia and Ocean City. The multi-talented Eddie Shiffler will star in a rock concert featuring some of the best new talent on the East Coast at the Ocean City Music Pier on Friday (May 9). A native of Ocean City, Shiffler is a singer, songwriter and  musician whose new band, Green Language, will introduce its first album, “Of the Birds,” during the show. The concert is set for 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on the Music Pier (Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace). The album will feature all new tracks written by Shiffler, whose musical career spans 18 years with concerts in New York and throughout the country. Green Language will play all the tracks on the new album during the concert. "Of the Birds" will be available that evening on download cards and limited edition CDs. Shiffler will host the show, front his band and perform select songs from his 18-year career between acts. Other bands scheduled to play include The Rivals from Philadephia, Hounds Basket and Bad Look from New York and the Out Lips and Almost Heroes from Ocean City. Artwork will be on display by Anna Vosberg, Aaron Jamison, Ivy Chaya Wilson and others. Admission is $10 at the door. All ages are welcome.
