Dinner and Auction on Aug. 7 to Benefit Costa Rica Mission

  • Things To Do
A sampling of items that will be up for auction on Aug. 7 to benefit the Costa Rica Mission for Life.
The following invitation is from Carlo Calle on behalf of the Costa Rica Mission for Life:
The Costa Rica Mission For Life started with a dream to help the people of Costa Rica. I took an exploratory trip this past January and will continue with a small group traveling to Costa Rica next January. The ministry objective is to build a working farm to raise food to help support the farm and feed the poor. Groups on mission trips will be able to volunteer to work the farm, experience the culture and work with the locals. The mission will also be building houses by using a sawmill to cut the materials and teach classes on all walks of life to expose the youth to more options. Through God's calling, this project has been in the works for a year. Now I am asking for your prayers and support. At 5 p.m. August 7, there will be an Italian buffet dinner at St. Peter's Methodist Church (501 E. 8th Street, Ocean City, N.J.). The cost of the dinner is $5 paid at the door. At 6 p.m., there will be an auction to raise money for the Costa Rica Mission For Life. Get involved and be one of many of God's hands on earth. I will devote the rest of my life to this worthwhile calling and you can also share in the blessing. Together, we can bring food and hope to the poor and less fortunate. God bless you and your families. Please call me at 609-602-1111 to register for the dinner or if you need further information. Thank You, Carlo Calle
