Letter to Editor: Thanks From Community Center Association

  • News
The Ocean City Community Center Association on Friday (Dec. 12) unveiled a new donor wall recognizing the people who have made contributions to the Community Center. On behalf of the Ocean City Community Center Association and its members, we would like to thank Mayor Jay Gillian, the Honorable William J. Hughes and all those that came out to an
Afternoon of Appreciation at the Community Center last week. We would also like to thank the individuals and businesses that donated their time and products to help make the community gathering a success and enjoyable for all those involved.  Thanks to the Colony Club volunteers, the musical entertainers, Santa, and his enthusiastic elves. In addition, our gratitude goes to: Nonna’s Trattoria & Pizzeria, Yianni’s Café, Reds Jersey Mex, Cinco De Mayo, Shrivers Salt Water Taffy & Fudge, Classy Chef LLC, Arlene’s on Asbury, Spinning Wheel Florist, The Flanders Hotel, Blitz’s Market, Deli and Grill, Johnson’s Popcorn, Manco & Manco Pizza, Pepsi, Ward’s Pastry, ShopRite of Marmora, Acme of Ocean City, and South Jersey Paper.  We strongly encourage everyone to patronize these generous businesses that donate time and time again to the city’s many charitable causes. The Community Center Association, a nonprofit 501c3, considers it a privilege and a pleasure to direct the financial support for the Center’s programs and endeavors in need of funding.  Maintaining the Ocean City Community Center as a world-class facility for all to enjoy has been and will continue to be the driving force in our fundraising efforts. Thank you all again for your support of the Ocean City Community Center Association. Sincerely, Ken Cooper-Chairperson Cricket Frank-Vice Chairperson
