Ocean City mayoral candidate Ed Price
The Fairness in Taxes community group will sponsor a mayoral debate 7 p.m. Monday (April 7) in the auditorium of the Ocean City Free Public Library, but incumbent Mayor Jay Gillian will be unable to attend.
The event will continue with Ed Price answering questions submitted by the public and by moderators David Nahan of the Ocean City Sentinel and Doug Bergen of OCNJ Daily.
All are invited to attend this free event.
"The Committee to Re-elect Jay Gillian Mayor received an invitation on Monday, March 24, from Fairness In Taxes for a debate on April 7," Gillian's campaign said. "Unfortunately, Mayor Gillian had a prior commitment and will be out of town."
Gillian will participate in the Ocean City Community Association Candidates Forum on Wednesday, April 23, and the Democrat and Republican Club’s Debate on Wednesday, May 7.
