Ocean City has released a list of key dates and links to important information leading up to the May 12 municipal election.
The election will feature the mayor’s race and three at-large seats on City Council.
- February 26: Candidate petition filing deadline
- April 13: 29-day pre-election campaign finance report filing
- April 21: Last day to register to vote
- April 21: Last day to file appointment or application for challengers at the Board of Elections
- May 1: 11-day pre-election campaign finance report filing
- May 5: Last day county clerk can receive applications by mail for mail-in ballots
- May 6-11: Any voter who failed to apply by mail for a mail-in ballot may apply by 3 p.m. the day prior to the election at the County Clerk's Office.
- May 8 by 4 p.m.: Last day to challenge mail-in voters at the Board of Elections.
- May 12: Polls open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- June 1: 20-day post-election campaign finance report filing
