Community members who are currently in cancer treatment, living as a survivor, or caring for a loved one with cancer are invited to take part in “Cancer: Thriving and Surviving,” a free, six-week interactive workshop offered at Shore Medical Center’s Cancer Center.
Developed by Stanford University, this evidence-based program is open to all cancer survivors and caregivers, regardless of where they have received care.
The workshop provides practical tools, encouragement, and peer connection to help participants navigate the physical, emotional, and everyday challenges of life during and after cancer.
Cancer: Thriving and Surviving will be held every Tuesday from February 24 through March 31, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., at Shore Cancer Center, located at 644 Shore Road in Somers Point.
